Seriously, nine of ten deaths in BF2 is caused by a grenade. Mindly annoying, to say the very least.
Play the REAL maps (i.e. stay off Karkand and Jalalabad) and you dont have to worry about nades.

Aye, this I've noticed. But anytime I see that little text X [hand-grenade] biggles1111 I get furious!

Just noticed MW2 is a Steam game...

So. We go through the usual installing process. When they "unlock" the files and then download them to me. Will take an hour or so. Just perfect.

Happy birthday me, btw^^

Ohwell, managed to get the game working. Played it now (bit short, as always). But damn, the action in this game! Some moments were just....epic, in a good way!

X3: Terran Conflict

I was looking for my last run with my freighter before I was to give it to my first employee. I checked the best buy locator and saw that a drone factory was selling their Fighter Drone Mk.II's at almost 6k below the average price. Of course, being the awesome merchant, I went in and bought them. Only after that I realised that there's only one place in the universe that buys them and it was a) kazillionbilliontrillion lightyears away and b) it only could hold like 10 drones, I bought 16.

At this point, I basically lost all my money (I was left with roughly 30k from the 500k I had), my first though was "****", but then I realised that I might turn this into profit afterall by attacking pirate ships and hope they'll bail and I get the ship, I mean, surely 16 Mk.II's should be more than enough for that.

Anyhow, I plotted course to the border worlds to see if I could find something to kill and ofcourse, being the egomaniac, I deployed all the drones to fly around my ship (looked nice). Come first jumpgate I hear a tremendous *KABOOOOOOM*, check my radar and ALL 16 DRONES FLEW RIGHT INTO THE GATE'S SUPERSTRUCTURES!!

I was just finishing the intro movie for the Subsim Clowns, just had to replace few placeholder pictures with the proper ones. The music I'm using fits perfectly for 5 player introduction.... we have 6.

Thank you my dear fellow!

Yeah, I'm very pleased with my birthday, and I'm also happy I wished for this game. It's really cool, gonna give the best parts another go when I have the time. I think it has some great details, like that short short episode when you're an astronaut outside ISS.
