Late August 1939, U-46 finished navigating the Channel onto our 1st patrol grid. This is my first campaign with GWX 3.0. (first time I've ever played SHIII with GWX for that matter).

Came across several merchants in the Channel. Of course, my crew waved back...

On station, and awaiting orders from Bdu....

To : BdU
From : U-27

Advance hydrophone course was a success; sunk 3 freighters using only hydrophone.
New targeting system worked excellently; sunk 1 freighter at 2700m (would've sunk another freighter at 3000m if Bernard hadn't chosen 0kts for target's speed ).
Requesting immediate transfer for Bernard to Gibraltar *patrol* duty.
