Even American boats get to be that ugly below the waterline after a while. But as for the screw it looks like a pump jet on there.

The trick is telling a 636 kilo and an 877 kilo apart.

I know that on one of the variants the turtle deck blends into the main hull, the Alrosa there is listed as an 877 but I have also seen it written that the 636 has the non blended turtle deck. I'm wanting to know so that when my kit arrives I can make it correctly.

Morning folks! sorry i havnt been on xabba been away driving to your neck of the woods in glasgow, im back now how long for i dont know.

Alrosa is the only one of a kind kilo has a water jet as you can see at its back end, its a 877 kilo.

It depends what your looking for really is it just the hull or the decals the back end you could turn it into a chinese yuan (please dont its a monstrosity), but to be honest 636's are pretty identicle and so are the 877's numbers and awards on the hull differ so do decals, i have a few pictures most of the ones i have are now on places like google and that.

877 is the older veriant has non blended turtle deck while the 636 improved kilo has the blended turtle deck and thats the reason why they are called improved and given a diffrent project number, plus some of the systems in the 636 are more upto date than in the 877 and the 636 has more life expectancy out of its batteries too.

OK the Trumpeter is the 636 version. Do the Russians actually have any of those? I know it is an updated Kilo but information on the net is confusing.
