Yes fog is a good cover... but then it complicates your situational awareness. For me any kind of surface attack/shelling is done on calm nights from 3000 meters out anyway... I got run over by a merchant once in the fog

Fog is Good, but I usually can not keep a target locked in fog , unless im less than 500 meters away. I get nervous traveling inside a convoy at that distance because, well, I suck at playing Frogger, and get ran over all the time. About two seconds before getting hit my sonar man will whisper "contact bearing 90', closeing, close range" then bam! I'm dead.
The gun in fog is the easy way, but takes to long and gives away your location quickley. ![]() Just my cents worth.
