castle bravo was waste gate? orly? haha

wow imagine the odds of being added to my ignore list twice, under different usernames and without me knowing that it was the same guy all along!
I believe I had words with Takeda when he was a GT moderator regarding waste gate and his previous attitude here.
Just goes to show; a spade is always a spade ...as it were.

I always thought we needed a pinta around here ... you know one of those things you swing a stick at while your blind folded that spills out candy when you break it.

Make it a sticky see and invite all the banned people to post in it plus they are limited to just that thread.

Then we could bash them with a stick everytime they post in it till they go away ...

In case you were wondering how the Navy takes care of these problems ...

Some sub saliors have had the **** kicked out of them the night before we go on patrol in the baseball field near the sub tender in Rota, Spain which settled the case of having to spend three months out at sea with someone you didn't like.

so another question.... what happens when you get keelhauled?

does a message pop up tell you that you have been banned and why?

or are you just suddenly logged out and unable to access your account?

light at the end of the tunnel?

nothing?

The guy sure gets a lot of attention after being banned from the forum (again). Just out of curiosity: Do you automatically get keelhauled after you've been in the brig for a set number of times?

If I recall right from my brig times, you get an window similar to that when you log in, except it tells that you are banned, the lenght of the ban and the reason. You can still browse the forums without logging in.

I was a little surprised that CB was WG.

Whilst CB was trolly and infuriating, I seam to remember WG being far,
far more trolly and infuriating.

WG was like some kind of parody.

NEAL: Isn't it possible to abn someone from GT only?
If someone can use all of the forum apart from the bit they cause
problems in then it might make it less likely that they will continuously
attempt to use new names and accounts.

I wonder what name WG/CB will use next...

No big loss.

Even on the internets tubes there are rules of etiquette.

Fishes splashing the water in one pool, tend to splash it in all pools.

Even in "my" small and quite corner of the forums, tanks, there have been one or two such cases, brigging them in tankforum, later seeing them keelhauled in GT forum anyway. Especially SubSerpent on my mind, who really costed me some nerves... Obviously he ruined some other guy's nerves just some time later, too, and that guy was just one too much.

So why inviting trouble by making it complicated. It's not worth it. Not crossing that red line is so easy, instead of doing something you just need to not do something - it can't get any easier. The rules are known; if you want to stay at subsim.com, you gotta behave in all forums you visit - basta.

Funny to see quite some names over the years getting keelhauled - after I already had some of them on my ignore list for longer time before.
