IJA tanks moving down towards the beachhead at Guadalcanal and firing their puny guns at ships !

but yes, moving around would be nice.

then again seeing them on a beach somewhere and shooting at them with your DG... would be nice

Disabled Type 97 Chi Ha Tanks on the Matanikau River Sandbar
Stan Jersy adds: "The head on the tank was from the 4th Tank in the 'crossing' photo. (Left) The first tank was the leader, the second tank was the adjutants tank, the third was the 3d Tank, 1st Platoon, the next was 3d Tank, 2d Platoon, (Right) The fourth tank- was a light tank (3d Tank, 1st Platoon). It is believed there were two bodies in that tank. Credit: USMCDate: October 24, 1942

Tank History
Part of the 1st Independent Tank Company and was originally the 4th Company, 2d Tank Regiment with 108 men. The unit landed on Guadalcanal during the night of October 14, 1942 from the Sasago Maru (1st Platoon) and with the balance on the Sakido Maru with 104 men. One was KIA and two WIA in the landing and one tank destroyed (disabled?) by gunfire from an unknown US warship.

Let me see, Captain Keltos of the Imperial Japanese Navy aboard the Jyunsen B submarine, shooting at Japanese tanks with his deck gun. I can see a be-heading in your future.

wow, Tanks even! better and better. Even if they are stationary, it will be nice to have those as targets. Japanese tank doctrine was primitive and the problem was that once battle was begun so many palm trees were felled that the mobility of armour or any vehicles in battle was troublesome as one Japanese officer put it in dispaches. A polite typical Japanese understatment meant to save face for all concerned for sending expensive and basically useless armour to the pacific. The heat in them in the full sun made many crews literally unconcious and many ended up as pillboxes buried in lines of defense. The US Marines called them BBQ pits and enjoyed them as targets.
