As per KC......most importantly, learn from the experience.

Good Advice
![]() Usually I sink Tankers with one torpedo of running depth 1m and shooting at the area close to the first set of masts. Nevertheless each of us has found his own little tricks, so good luck and good shooting ![]()

Newbie question: How do you place your shots that accurately? I'm glad if my torpedoes actually go the way they're intended, usually it's a few degrees to the side (and I don't know why).
Luckily, I've just downed a juicy T-3 with one eel (broke its back). I'm currently off the Northern Irish coast. It's such a peasouper up there that I can't make out any targets until they're 500m in front of me ![]() |

It's easier when the ship is stopped and the weather is calm or moderate. Then the torpedo will hit just about exactly where you aim it. It's also quite doable when you have a perfect shot lined up, say 1000m at a 90 degree AOB with speed accurately known. In bad weather, with hurried firing solution, and an imperfect angle, things are much harder and it's good just to score a hit. But, sometimes this is the only choice the enemy gives you.
