As long as it can render the soup, you've got everything you need.

I wonder if we also need a thread/poll about the GPU (as in, ATI 5870 or NVidia GTX280, but more general, of course) just so we have both halves of the equation accounted for. Although a lot of these cards listed are great in ram and GPU, in the past (as a marketing gimmick) I have seen many cards paired with 512MB or more of slow ram with a poor GPU, which would not do well in SH5. While it may tell the same story in the end, it could be intriguing none the less.

Yeah, 64MB should be just enough to render about 1 gallon of soup, so you should have nothing to worry about.

btw, Neal, above post relating to spam removed to avoid cluttering the thread... not that this one contributes that much...

ATi Radeon 4850 ICeQ4 512 Mb.

btw , this article is interesting. According to the tests video ram helps only when we're talking about resolutions close to 2560xXXXx and ONLY in some few games. So i guess the poll is useless. it matters what video card you have but really not how much memory on it.

Simply not true, a res of 1920x1200 with lots of AA and AF needs video ram.
