No I don't hate it. Capn Scurvy put a lot of work into it and it works great. If you want to eliminate everything that can make you miss except for your own ineptness, SCAF and Max Optics are the way to go. They should be an optional install as a learning tool for all supermods.
BUT making them an integral part of the mod, which cannot be removed, putting all of us in a permanent kindergarten class is completely inappropriate. I like it the way Capn Scurvy designed it: different versions for stock, RFB, TMO, RSRD and combinations thereof to be installed on top of them and removable in seconds when you're ready to handle the "real" world.

I can live without SCAF, I know max optics is unrealistic but it is nice to have esp if you play without contacts. Also nice for TBT at night, combined with the red or green TBT filters(not night vision, but helps and provides just the right balance) sergei created(can find the threat on here i posted titled "cant remember who made this mod"
Real skippers had better radar the fed info to TDC and helped them target at night.Unfortunately, this is not simulated in SH 4, so some optics and filters for TBT is fair help to balance things out. |
