it does I believe, bullethead as peviously said that not all of the BB's had received their fire control at the time of the Battle so Agincourt/Westfalen et al will fire full broadsides unlike the fire control fitted ships.

IIRC Central control would be more accurate at shorter ranges while Director fire is more accurate at long ranges as well.

If DG/Jutland does make allowances for the presence/absence of a director, is there any way for us (the gamer) to see if a particular ship is fitted w/ a director?

In the ship info screen, you can see what type of fire control it has.

all the ships i've looked at, the weapon mounts just say "central" (or "local")??

EDIT: ok, now i see the director is listed under "aiming system"--i knew i must be missing something obvious!
