It is a tragedy, and whether the EU is a light for the Romanian folk or
a slap in the face, we'll see.
wowowow, just a sec there, I never blamed the EU. Corporations are corporations and they do what they do. And governments will always suffer from corruption, especially the romanian one (check out the latest voting presence percentages to see how much we "trust" them). And in any country, some have it better than others. I have a good Pc, a nice apartment and a beautiful car (Toyota Corolla Hatchback 2006, british made, bought new). I don't yet live in a kraphole. The EU is a light that too many Romanians have tainted with what they do and how they behave. Our government deserves as many slaps in the face from EU as I'd like to give them (altough I'd prefere to kick them in the balls, or medieval torture).

So chin up

Now back to topic.
With SH5 now such a big issue and the GWX 4 mod abandoned, I realise that Tomi's interiors come to my mind again and again. With no doubt, they are a true masterpiece as they are now, but we must think about the future.

So, once SH5 will come out, I wonder, how much of the GPU will the Ubi interiors take up... We'll see then. But think about it, every time anyone would want to add something to the SH5 3d interior, where would he look first? At Tomi ofc. I already regard them as a sort of template. The positioning, the textures, the detail, they're all perfect. Maybe in a few years we'll have the hardware to run all of it with dynamic lights and Ambient Occusion. Tomi, can you make up a render without baked textures? Maybe with Ambient Lighting and Global Illumination and full quality settings. I'd love to see how it looks.

That is if it ever gets released.
And if that's in GWX's hands, having a new SH title coming soon, I bet they're not gonna want to waste their time, specially given the fiasco that SH4 was compared to SH3, the only really good things SH4 has are time compression, graphics, and the US subs. So it'd be logical to drop any works on SH4 as it's already been said that GWX4 has been dropped.

I think only a miracle will provide us with such complex materials for SH4 now.

Luckily enough, there's already some good mods on the scene, so the SH4 fiasco isn't so much, now that it ain't a standalone, but a title that gets some good works released on the short-scheduling schemes that have always represented the smaller packs. It's not like I've done as many hours in SH4 as I did in SH3, but I can say there's some stuff that's worth trying.

So, a "Good job!" to all those modders, please.

Cheers
