Blasphemy! UK plans to replace pint glasses with plastic

TBH, I always preferred the Beer Mug, the original dimpled UK one, for that purpose my local has mine hanging over the bar.

Yeah , they were ideal.
They have the weight which you could swing easy and deck even the biggest, when they eventually broke you were left with the snug fitting handle which is very good for some really cutting punches .
Plus as a bonus you don't run the risk of cutting up your own palm like you do when using the nonic glass.
