Fadm, what's the process now to get the flags, same as before, just to you...

Quick question on creating the flags...how are you able to maintain the image quality once you convert the edited ___tower_O1 file to .dds? Mine looks fine in photoshop until I save/compress it, then it loses quality and looks badly washed out. Is there any way to avoid this? The regular merchant flag looks fine, but the rising sun flag just bleeds together...

What is the file type before you convert it to a dds? I change the _tower_01 file from a .dds to a .bmp then do my work. Also I remade the rising sun flag. The first time you add flags save that image as you master to use in the future.

Thanks, but I've just given up.

In any format, once saved to .dds even on highest compression the flags just look terrible...

Answer these questions below and I'll put on together for you. Again here is a pic of my USS Stringray skin and as you can see my flags are not bleeding. This maybe is due to the fact that I put a black border around my flags.



1. What Boat (USS Something)
2. Class of boat (balao, ect...)
3. Number of warships sunk
4. Number of warships damaged
5. Number of maru sunk
6. Number of maru damaged
7. Number of junks/samipans sunk
8. Number of junks/samipans damaged
9. Number of aircraft destroyed
10. Number of aircraft damaged
11. Number of raiding parties
12. Number of pilots rescued
13. Number of total tons sunk
14. Your player's rank (LCDR, CDR, CAPT, ect...)
15. Medals you earn in the game

I sent it PM. That's my second patrol. I do plan to keep the Gar throughout the war or until I die. Are you actually adding flags for each patrol....I wouldn't bother you again until about mid career, I just like the look of some flags with my emblems.

Right now as I am doing nothing I can do it each patrol. Until sks gets me set up on the killflag site you will have to pm me directly.

Right click on it and choose "save as". to copy it to your pc.

Thanks for the help! The battle flags were causing the bleed over/corruption so I searched around and found / edited a new one. I'm happy with 'em so I'm gonna stick with it.
