What am I doing wrong, or is it a RUB fatigue thing?

It's not a bug, it's a problem with RUB's logic to kill your crew in the name of realism. The crew's efficiency gets so low that they can't perform their job, just like when an engine goes dead because their all too tired.

This is the one thing that's keeping me from installing RUB myself and it's a shame given the quality of the rest of that package.
