Methinks you need to go for a reinstall to restore proper gameplay.
I think Formosa has to be the worse place late war. I love going there. With TMORSRD, it's murderous. The planes are relentless, have radar. Never seen so many Coastal Vessels with 6 Y guns, shallow water at times..

I found a BB and Carrier late 44 with 6 escorts. I was 14nm away, but they picked me up. I ran and they finally went back, but planes are keeping me under..I'll be lucky to get an end around.

It's amazing, planes were vectored in and you can see them making circles searching where I was earlier.

Planes rather consistently kick my butt around... if they are not attacking something isn't right. Maybe I should try YOUR mods... <G>

From reading the notes of RSRD, the latest version he changed plane traffic. Stock planes drove so many crazy, every good mod maker cut them way back. I liked what lurker did with latest RSRD. He put in more plane traffic in a reasonable way. It there is a lot of jap activity, expect a lot of planes, even more than stock. Take the Solomon's during 42, so many jap planes...but that's realistic. You get out of an area infested by japs, it goes back to normal traffic, which is very few.

With the many added planes and harder settings with TMORSRD, planes are about perfect....Love the way they fly near convoys and TF, constantly hunting you down.

I really think RR is right, you have mod soup. If you're having problems now, you will later.

What mod's are you running would be the best place we could start and help you?

You need to stick with one supermod and possibly RSRD. Yes, there are a possible 100 mod conbinations, but you don't know what you're doing mod soup is a mess. Certain files you don't want to overwrite, why some are no problem.

I run several mods myself, so don't take this as picking...you have mod soup. I don't use RFB and someone else could better respond to that, but I see others that would conflict. Some things you don't need as they are provided by other mods.

Your running ver 1.4 and that would really concern me with all those mods.

Hoping your game isn't corrupt, I would unload them all and start with RFB only. It really deals with many of the things you have.

I haven't looked at RFB lately, so I don't know if that's current or if you have all the needed patches for it. If you're going to run RFB, you want to be sure to use mods that work with RFB, so ask in the RFB mod thread. You may not get answers, you may, cuz they ain't gonna go through every mod to see what is compatible.

After loading RFB..stop, as hard as it is and make sure your files aren't fubar. If they are, you'll have to uninstall the game. Personally, if my game was fubar..and I've done it a few times, I would uninstall anything related to the game, including mods, cuz you never know what's screwed up. Even if mods appear to work, they may screw up a part of the game you can't see. When I load a mod, I go through every conflict that concerns me, check the settings and file changes to see what's happening. I've loaded a few that worked fine, but found out later they screwed the supermods AI sensors up. If you know what you're doing you can tweak things, but that's dangerous itself.

Webster makes great mods, but I don't know that any of those are compatible with RFB, I assume most are not. Most are for the stock game.
He has updated some for TMO, so he may have for RFB. I use his smaller rain, rocks, ect...Webster is fairly good at answering question, so I would ask him. I just know most of those don't work with TMO and assume they wouldn't with RFB.

If you want to load other mods, load them one at a time and play awhile to see if the changes even take effect.

I think RFB already kills the grainy effect, so you might not need that one.
