Default FW200 Condor repaint

I did this repaint of the Condor since the original was a bit of a botch job. I used the groundcrew CFS2/3 condor skin as a basis.

It's Just been uploaded to http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/
so expect it to be available there very soon.

As far as I can tell, there aren't many SH3 aircraft left in need of a reskin...only the Arado and Walrus floatplanes, and that Italian Savoi whatsit thingy. I'll see what I can do with my spare time over the next couple of weeks.

Cheers.

Thought there was something familiar about that image.
Good job.

That is a good job! Normally I find repaints hard to tell from the original, but this one really looks good.

Macstu23,

Nice job! I have just one suggestion: my research indicates the yellow underside wingtip markings were only used on the Eastern Front. Would it be possible to make the entire underside of the wing light blue, instead of light blue with yellow wingtips, to match Western Front coloring?

Thanks!

Pablo

I was going to mention it too, but Pablo beat me to it. Still looks good, even if never fixed; keep 'em coming!

If you dont ask, you dont get.

Fully Westernised Fw-200 Condor has just this minute been uploaded to http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/
I even added a conveniently symetrical letter 'M' on the side, which no doubt stands for 'macstu23'

Filename is 'FW200 Condor West front reskin.zip'

I've also taken the liberty of uploading my old Stuka skin with the Eastern front yellow stripes, filename 'Ju-87 Stuka reskin Eastern front.zip'
So now you have a choice of East or West with both the Condor and the Stuka...Can't be all bad, can it ?

hey macstu, love the work...any chance of a coastal command liberator and catalina? I figure if we can get these .dat alterations to work, we can either make new models or get them to support multiple skins.

I have been thinking about that Shadow. I didn't consider it high priority before as their are already nice reskins of the Liberator and Catalina out there, but if we can indeed have multi-skin support, or cloned models, then I'll definitely look into it. Somebody posted a picture of an RCAF Liberator in coastal command colours recently. Something like this;
