Mine was funnier more for the others in the room at the time than me, although I did laugh later.

I had gotten pounced on by a pair of Vals, so I was darting around while my AA crew tried to pick them off. They got one pretty good and sheared off its tail, so that it started spiraling in. I was on the bridge doing evasive maneuvers at the surface, just concentrating on the rudder control, when all of a sudden the Val that had just got shot down crashes right into my bow, cartwheels into the air, then comes back down and hits the sea. It freaked my out, just hearing the totally random loud CLANG and then seeing the Val spinning comically in the air, but I immediately assumed I'd taken damage and went to check. There was no damage though, I guess "debris" and things like that don't constitute things that can damage your boat, fortunately (or unfortunately, for the realism).

Also, my brother happened to be in the room watching when all this happened. He was on the floor laughing.

Yep, I ran out of AA ammo with a bomber attacking... So I made good use of the deck gun.

I took a lot of hits on the bow and went to periscope depth. I didn't stop diving nose first. Emergency surface didn't work. At about 436 feet I took a gamble. I leveled the plains and went to back emergency, and I backed out of the water.

I sank two ships with one torpedo when 2 destroyers were going to make a formation attack. I took out the steering of 1 ship and the other one slammed into it; snapping them both in half.

Anthony W Good hit, but strange. Only yesterday I had a 7,000 ton freighter T bone a DD and both sailed on as if nothing happened.

I'll post a pick later if I have time.

Wow. This was weird. Some sloop rammed me and I immediately sank with almost no damage.

I had a boat capsize and I waited for an hour and it just mooned me(lol). I even sailed between the masts. I had to put 4 torpedoes into it to finish the job.

I hit a destroyer with an ADCAP and it did a stern stand but never totally sank because the water was too shallow; just stood there with the bow sticking straight up out of the water.

I ran aground and the destroyer followed suit.

I had 6 of 6 torpedoes fail to explode.

I got up to 21kts and jumped a capsized ship.

A ship sank on top of me.

I launched a tomahawk from a Walther by some odd occurrence.

I just had one the other day.

Was coming up on a 2-freighter convoy, had only 3 torpedoes left after a hectic patrol, so I had every intention of sneaking up behind them and taking them down with the deck gun.

Well, at some point the convoy changed course on me, and when I decided to surface and start blasting I was suddenly at 90 degrees to their collective starboard. Oops.

Well of course the lead freighter is armed, so I quickly evade to port to get out of view of the gun. In the process of turning I thought it best to get some rounds on that lead ship and make things easier when the time came. So I clicked to the deck gun, aimed at the ship, and hit spacebar. Suddenly I hear "Firing tube 4!"

Come again?

Turns out I didn't go to the deck gun station, just single-clicked the icon and started aiming with the binoculars from the bridge (where I had been before). Oops x2. No, I'm not an idiot. Yes, I am pretty absent minded.

Lo and behold, here comes the second freighter right across my bow. I'm still hard to port, and I'm afraid that I might hit the thing, but suddenly it explodes and I hear "Torpedo impact!" It was hit right in the midsection below the engine room, and it was sunk in about 20 seconds.

If only I could have turned around to the deck watch and said "I meant to do that!"

At the very least there are no aircraft still stuck by super duper glue on the deck!!!
