Here's where my .cfg file is located (probably the same place as yours):
C:\Documents and settings\(your user profile)\my documents\SH3\data\cfg\careers\(career name)\patrols_0.cfg. Open the patrols_0.cfg in notepad, and scroll to the bottom. There you will see a line called DeltaRenown. Change the number behind it to what you like, IE 999999.00. Then save and exit. That'll give you 999999 renown.
