Congrats on the kill!

I love the Sugar Boats. They are all I use now on the US side Know their limitations and work within them and they will serve you fine. My little S-27 has taken a Mogami, an Ise BB and a Taiho carrier, all in open waters, not sitting in ports. Very nice little boat.

Same here, GREAT little boats in the game if used right.

Congrats on the kill, too bad about the loss.

A heroic but sad story all the same. The Little 'S' That Could.

The reason the S-Boats were hated wasn't because they had lousy capabilities. They were hated because they were World War I boats and were way beyond their design lifespan. Everything broke all the time. The boats could not be relied on, even to dive to periscope depth without endangering the crew.

However, in our game, the S-Boats slid down the ways about a week before we take command. They're shiny, reliable and work exactly as designed, something no S-Boat did in World War II. I love the game S-Boats.
