The reason the S-Boats were hated wasn't because they had lousy capabilities. They were hated because they were World War I boats and were way beyond their design lifespan. Everything broke all the time. The boats could not be relied on, even to dive to periscope depth without endangering the crew.
However, in our game, the S-Boats slid down the ways about a week before we take command. They're shiny, reliable and work exactly as designed, something no S-Boat did in World War II. I love the game S-Boats.
