Default GWX3.0 GOLD issue

hey all,

recently completely uninstalled and reinstalled SH3 after a long spell playing UBM. also downloaded GWX3.0 GOLD to make it a thousand times better

runs great except i've noticed that the tirpitz docked in wilhelmshaven has no turrets is this to be expected??

i'm not using any mods (just GWX and stock 1.4b SH3).

Actually, thats historically accurate.. Tirpitz didn't have it's guns installed during 1939, if I'm not correct, it was still being constructed .

The Tirpitz did not have her main armament fitted until Jan 41

I agree with a previous poster that what the in-game Tirpitz needs is guys with acetylene torches and lots of welding sparks and maybe a few cranes overhead so that people 'get it'.

How about a huge 300 foot sign 'UNDER CONSTRUCTION' draped over the side of the hull?

That would make a pretty neat add-on.

Nearly everything is available in the Game files now.
They just need to be placed.

Just want to say to the GWX guys that I thought it was PRETTY cool to see the ship without the turrets for the first time.

I had a warm & good feeling, and thought "Ah, historical accuracy...! NICE"
