If you run any mods/tweaks you get an incompatability problem with other players so you cant play..also there are alot of bugs and ctd's...

I tried it a couple of times with some friends and it worked fine,but you also have to be the type for multiplayer.You lose nice features like time acceleration,pauzing the game and take a break etc...also you need communication like teamspeak to avoid double attacks etc..

To speak for myself the whole game immersion disappears when i play online.

There used to be a group of people that played on a regular basis together,maybe you can try to find them?

Also dont forget not too many people play these type of games,its not Call of duty...
