I would uninstall and reinstall, that, and I always seemed to have the patch that was a little moody and locked up at 92%.

so, uninstall the game, Reinstall it, your key should still be working.
run the patch without touching a thing.

cross your fingers and hope it works

Delete the offending line and try again.
