I tried to do a better image of the Hull sections.
But I'm no good with graphic stuff.
But the Hull section in the lower left corner may help.
Nice job so far Guys!

I modified the guns platform shapes again :

is this a real life blueprint of USS Narwhal ?

if so, my mistake and the guns platforms should be circular..

any intel ?

do you have this at a higher resolution ?

I'm not sure how accurate the deck area is.
And if I had a higher resolution?
I'd give it to you in a heart beat!

It's located at
http://www.seajunk.com/nautical-antiques.htm

I tried several ways to increase it's size but it gets pixelated.
And I'm not good at graphs stuff sorry to say.

Wish I could offer something better.

I also found this print on E-Bay.
Not sure what they want for it.

Post #90 is the 1939 verision and you can see the stern platform is round and the bow platform is a bit angular. Not a whole heck of a lot though. As far as I know that blue print is a copy from the real thing. At this point and the information we can provide and obtain, some liberal artistic license might be in order.

I think the NArwhal had the rakish bow as seen tn the 1939 configuration

Couldn't you make a try with vertical platform sides? The cone shaped ones are better in this last render, but still not true to the original. Also, you still seem to have a small gape between platform and hull in the conning tower area.

Yeah, I agree, make it look as good as possible, the milimetric exactitude is probably impossible with the materials we have, so a closer look to reality will be obtained with a "wild ass guess"
