Dont know but typically these movie spin offs suck.

But I was wondering as to the timing of the release of this product. Is there a sequal movie comming out or something?

Oh forgot to add I hardley ever buy a game that is a new release anymore. The trend these days is to get the product on the shelfs and finish it later.

Our beloved silent hunter is a prime example.

There was a review about it in a finnish gaming show thingy and it gave it 7/10. TBH, by the looks of it, I wouldnt've even given that.

No new move this year. There's one in the works, though I don't think it's eaven in pre-production yet.

The reviwers have given it some good scores, I was just wondering if any of you guys had actually picked a copy up. It's out in the UK tomorrow, guess i'll pick up a copy, was a huge ghostbusters fan back in the day, it'll be good for nostalgia.

You might try asking in the 'games' section of the forums.

I hadn't heard about this game until I saw your thread, I just watched a video and really, it looks alot better then I expected a Ghostbusters game to be...

Multiplayer co-op ghostbusting sounds fun, but only on PS3 or 360, no multiplayer for PC

Ah Stay Puft, good memories. Destruction never looked so cute, at least until Ultra Pipi came along in Invader Zim.

Still love Ghostbusters even now, I might go pick up the game. See what its like

Putting fond childhood memories aside, which means that I would naturally have loved this game.

It's actually v.short, poorly coded, poor graphics, has screen tearing (regardless of GFX settings) and is basically sh*t.

Rental only.

I have been playing it for a couple of hours now and haven't seen any evidence of this. The graphics are by no means metal gear solid 4 standards, but they are perfectly acceptable.

P.S.

Which version are you playing? I have the PS3 version.

If he's referring to the PS2 version, then yes that is ****. But the PS3 and PC versions are rock solid (with the exception of long loading times on the PC). The PS2 version uses cartoonish representations of Bill Murray and the rest, but the PS3 and PC versions stick to their real-life likenesses.

If you have a PC or PS3 , then I suggest you get this game. It's not the Ultimate ghostbusters experience, but it comes close. Easily one of the best Ghostbuster games ever released.

Of course that isn't saying much when compared to the ones that came before (some of the worst games ever made).
