I'm sorry. None you listed are so petty that they talk about being in traffic. I could handle a story about him going out for a game of golf, but OMG! He is delayed for 15 minutes in a traffic jam! Face it, guys, lots of Presidents have a cult of personality around them. It seems to be more of a symptom of the US than a 'Democratic problem' - when you have a population that hails the flag each and every morning and have the uniformed JROTC do that silly little flag drill before every school event... you get Presidents with cults of personality.

I think the problem is two fold, the first being the natural tendancy of people not being able to admit their mistakes, and secondly the vast sums of money involved. When you see $ figures in the trillions it is near impossible for the average person to comprehend the gravity.
