After reading 9 very confused pages, I'm completly lost, this sounds great, but does anyone have a non-expired link with explanations of the differant versions?

Actually, neither of these fixes is any longer needed, AFAIK

IX fix? Egh, well that's nothing to do with the ship spawn fixes.

You probably mean the Type IXD2 range fix. There's a number of ways to get that. I think TimeTraveller's crush depth changer also allows altering range, and RealUboat should include the range fix as well.

...and, failing that, if you'd like - I can post the fixed range file. Mind you though, it doesn't fix the broken flak and sonar problems of the D2.
