Last Australian WW1 veteran has died

Another Generation passes into the pages of history, their stories and experiences now only saved by what recordings and writings they leave behind. May those who served, rest peacefully

According to this video, there are only five World War I veterans left:

1) Stanley Choules, Britain
2) Henry Allingham, Britain
3) Harry Patch, Britain
4) John Babcock, Canada
5) Frank Buckles, United States

I had forgotten that Yakup Satar had died last year.

No more Central Powers veterans... only five Entente ones left...

I hate to say this, but reviewing last year's total of 12 that died, it seems very likely that all of them will be gone by next year, if not before the closing of this year.
