Just to re-iterate,
We left on the 1st Aug,reached patrol grid on the 4th.It is now the 11th,with no word from BDU. The only messages we have had were days ago, warning boats from Konigsberg to return, something to that effect.

I think you were supposed to act upon that Konnigsberg message. I started my Carreer in the 7th so I had to. But what message you get in the 1st or 2nd flottilla I don't know. Is it specifally adressed to the 7th/Konnigsberg uboats? I can't check the game files since my WinXP machine is dead. I'm forced to use a linux pc and feel very handicapped (being a total noob in it). Which is weird, as you are supposed to have alot more freedom in it. Either way, no SH3 for me.

The radio messages simply said "all Uboats from Konigsberg to return",now unless I am missing something here I am from Kiel.
Other orders for those in the 7th,were to "stay in the bay and attack the target ships,a small 2 ship convoy" (now which bay would that be,and what nationality are these 'target' ships?),mine are just for a 5 day shakedown, then await further orders, which, have not arrived yet.

The port in which the 7th flottila starts is current day Kaliningrad, (not sure what that piece of country is in the link below, seems to be Russia):
http://maps.google.nl/?ie=UTF8&ll=54...9,7.844238&z=7 In the game it's on the eastern border of Poland with Russia, the bay is also east of Gdansk (to help you locate it on the map). To be honest, I have no idea what nationality those ships were. They were supposed to represent training target ships so it wouldn't matter. But probably neutral at the time. As I think I received negative renown. Oh well, there's a war around the corner for plenty more. ![]() Why the 1st or 2nd do not receive a radiomessage with further orders I do not know. Maybe best to ask someone of the GWX crew.

Venatore,
Thats the point, there IS no war yet,its still Aug 1939,and i'm stuck here in the Skagerrak like a fool wondering what to do next,I mean I can't attack anything, and don't even know if I should return yet. Stuff it,i'm going back, another 2-3 days journey, and it will be Aug 14th! 2 weeks of nothing. ![]() ![]() I DID get some co-ords though, see if they match up on patrol 2.
