The driver died from his injuries in hospital this night. Police will investigate whether or not more people were involved, but this seems unlikely.

Deliberate from what I can tell. I understand 5 deaths now.
A well known figure traveling a well marked route at a well known time... Sounds to me like a planned yet poorly executed attack...
