thanks for your long and kindful reply, Bullethead.
IŽll buy the game this evening. Maybe it will be even possible for you to add some of the features i've asked about later... ![]() Beautiful pictures from the game other forum you mentioned! The one above is from the user @Kotori87 from the gamesquad forum, hope it's not a problem posting it here. The games log output on the picture here above seems more than i get from the game - strange, i'll have a look again. And hey - the shoreline looks not that bad. At least it's there ![]() |

Thank you for that

BTW, you can see a light, local rain squall in this pic. That's what's making all the little white dots. You sometimes get little brief showers like this even with the sky fairly clear. Quote:

Here is the most horrible seastate you are going to see in the game as it currently is (At least, I'm pretty sure)
Excuse my shameless cropping of the bottom of the picture, my friend decided to send me a message on Xfire at that exact moment and I'm too inherently lazy to go and take it again ![]()

In the scenario editor, you can set the wind speed up to at least 150 knots, maybe 200, I forget which. And you can even do that during a regular battle, via CTRL-F9, if you're bored with the current conditions ![]() BTW, you can play with the settings for wave size and shape. The wave shapes tend to look best for a some subset of the full range of wind speeds, though. IOW, wave settings that look good at normally encountered sea states often look too choppy under extreme conditions, and if you set the waves for the extreme, normal weather tends to be a bit flat.

I think the wind only went up to 120 knots when I did this

BH, you mentioned that you can shoot at the shore guns even though they are tough to hit.
My question is: If by some fluke you do hit them, is it possible to knock them out? I've never seen it happen, just curious. Edit: Thanks. Last edited by MoToM; 04-28-09 at 05:17 PM. |

Yup, it's possible to damage or destroy them just like guns on ships. And eventually they get repaired.
