I am always very concerned when children are cruel to animals. I always wonder if it will escalate to cruelty to humans.

There is a correlation relationship (not a causality one yet) between animal cruelty to animals and violent crimes with humans.

Ya there is a pretty strong correlation between animal violence and human violence and so far it seems to go from animal violence to human violence (weaker to stronger). But your correct there isn't causality, harming animals doesn't necessarily mean you will move on to humans, though the tendency does seem to exist.

As for the child, its quite possible that there is in fact nothing wrong with her family, that she is just naturally wired that way. At any rate she should be taken for a psychological evaluation, and treated based on the results.

I would also point out that children are by nature rather cruel, intolerant, and utterly self centered creatures. Its not uncommon for children to torture insects and small animals for amusement or out of curiosity (what happens if I do this).

See, I've always told that dogs are farking stupid. The hell it's just sitting there taking the kicking and beating (yeh, I know, it's on a leash, but shouldnt prevent it from biting)? Dont know which is more retarded, the dog or the fat c**t.

Hmm good question.

Let's rewrite this to see if it applies to another abusive situtation...

See, I've always told that women are farking stupid. The hell they are just sitting there taking the kicking and beating (yeh, I know, she is in a relationship/marriage , but shouldnt prevent her from leaving)? Dont know which is more retarded.

The reasons the dog does not fight back are probably similar to the reasons an abused women does not fight back.

Both are abused
Both don't understand why
Both think it will get better
Both are committed to the relationship
Sadly, both are wrong.

Yet it happens every day

I hope you are not really blaming the victim in these cases are you?

No, I never said I blamed the victim, I just said the dog is IMO stupid.

As for the woman part, she can always leave, go to the police if necessary. If she decides to not do that and just stay and get her teeth knocked down her throat, dont except any sympathy from me.

See, if you ask me, this guilty and victim thing is a wee bit too black/white. If the victim willingly stays and takes the beating, IMO he/she/it is partly guilty for letting it continue when there might be a way out.
