ya thats what i was thinking, fix one folder to have all the missing sounds and replace the shouting fools, then make 9 copies of that folder rather than trying to change the games routing system so you avoid unexpected issues with typos of whatever. for me i would like to make all voices "normal" in all cases and "whisper" for silent running.

so they were just trying to give unique voices to each character you choose for your crew is why they did so many files? thats nice they put so much work into it, with so many shortcuts you notice they took you dont always so all the hard work and extra effort they also put into this game.

ATR-42 did a mod with those files to fix 2 missing voices but thats about as far as he went with it.

did you ever make that "no screaming voices" into a mod? i think it would be very popular with many players.

This is the '1' folder, which you have to copy to the other folders.
The Readme has all the gen.
