Adapting authentic tactics

I use realistic tactics as much as the game allows.I now play on 100% realism settings, played with everything on for a while except disable external view, liked having the view but didnt use it for tactical reasons.Getting depth charged without external view is rather interesting.I miss the external view during non combat times since you can only go to conning tower, control room and bridge.

some ways the game cheats its good not to see, like how destroyers zoom in at 30 kts from a range over 10,000 away from you but come right over you exactly and stop dead on top of you like they have satelite radar guidence or something lol.

its to keep the game interesting but is way unrealistic so not having external view can hide most of this from being obvious to you
