Other British tourists found their holidays were spoiled because "the beach was too sandy" and "no one told us there would be fish in the sea; the children were startled".

Fish in the sea, ain't it the obvious

* It's lazy of the local shopkeepers to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during "siesta" time — this should be banned.
What a twat!
I've heard that some times before.

and it really has nothing to do with beeing lazy, we have lunch in the afternoon and we take our time with that. after lunch we have like an hour break. when we re-open again we start fresh again and we do not have those dreadly last hours that we ''just want to go hoooooooooome but that last hour is crawling!....''

I hate to think what will happen when they get to meet one of these!

Ah, another example of the lovely Australian wildlife.

How did I manage to survive my trip there 10 years ago?

DAMN those wide sandy beaches and oceans full of fish. And let's not get started on the consistency of the soup. Honestly, it's enough to ruin a perfectly pleasant holiday, according to a list of recent complaints by British tourists.
Consider this "it's all your fault" rant by a woman who returned to Britain with an unexpected holiday souvenir: "My fiance and I booked a twin-bed room but we were placed in a double-bed room. We now hold you responsible for the fact that I find myself pregnant."
Omg, can you imagine if these people had been Americans?

One disgruntled wife declared that topless sunbathing should be banned because her "holiday was ruined as my husband spent all day looking at other women".
Well, come on, what did she expect? He was taking in the local scenery Now, if he was taking pictures for the vacation photo album then you might have something

Don't worry, the dingoes don't eat babies anymore, they've moved on to tourists! More fat, less fight!
