while i was watching O'Kane method i saw his hotkeys which are as you know situated bottom left and they seem to be a lit different than custom ones (some of them were light blue and the ones on the bottom right which are used for maneuvring were also quite different). is there a mod for changing those keys and were can it be found?
and by the way I want to thank you for all your help by now and your patience! @HMUDA @EL CHEGUEVARA @STEAMWAKE @ROCKIN ROBBINS @WEBSTER THANX!!!

I think, not positive, he was using the Trigger Maru supermod. That's how he got the hud shortcuts on it. Always willing to help a fellow subsim fan, been in your shoes before, you will get the hang of it

i believe the blue keys are just used in v1.5 to indicate camera view buttons you can create your own menu key layouts with jimimadrid's "menumaker v2.0" but dont have more than 10 on any screen or they will be blocked by the fuel guage Last edited by Webster; 04-18-09 at 10:45 PM. |

Don't forget Webster's GFO (Game Fixes Only) mod which joined the supermod family just recently! I have to chime in and suggest that you play the game stock until you are familiar enough to realize what changes have been made by mods you try out. It's hard to decide if you like something better if you don't know what it's better than!
Take her slow, don't get frustrated and have confidence that the learning curve is steep, but the skills will all come together.

merceg100, If I were in your shoes, I`d head for my home base, and end my patrol. Fifty eight percent hull damage puts you at a great risk of losing your boat. I often ignore my patrol orders if my boat, and crew are in dire straights, better to fight another day, and learn from your mistakes. Puts

I have to agree with the above. Head to your homebase, end patrol and let your boat be repaired. If you don't have enough fuel, then go to a base that is close to refuel, and then head to homebase. ![]()

watch your fuel usage and batteries charging. (this is a hard coded unmoddable game thing you have to watch for) when batteries are damage the engines always run full speed to charge them and you lose fuel economy so make sure you manually turn off battery charging or it can cut your fuel ranges in half. |
