Only for accepting Fuchida's account as being 100% true, which is true of just about every history of the battle. I always found that as being incredibly odd - "okay, we have a the written account of one person published 10 years after the battle - let's just accept it at face value and not do any research of our own!" Can you imagine if a third of what we know about 9/11 came from a firefighter who didn't even see the towers collapse, wasn't on duty due to an injury he'd previously sustained, and was a notorious liar?

Anyway, Anthony Tully, the co-author of Shattered Sword has a new book coming out within the month about the Battle of Surigao Strait. I've pre-ordered it, and I'm hoping it's at least half as good as Shattered Sword!
