I have never used that ship. And it would only be in the expansion pack for SH4. If you are playing that now see if there is an anchor Icon in the Indian Ocean and steam to it. When you are in close proximity to it, it should allow you to refit for fuel and torps. Also you can command other ships to intercept convoys. Click on those on your Nav map and you will see what I am talking about. If you do this right you can watch them take on a convoy or even a task force. But you have to be in the location as well. Explore with it and have fun...

no re-arming while at sea that Im aware of.

You must make it to a friendly port.

I thought so too and unless I am nuts while playing a U Boat I saw an anchor Icon off the coast of Perth in the IO. And dang if it was not a supply ship of sorts and you could refit there. But it is not always there....
