I support the NRA because they are the only ones who will go to DC to fight for the second amendment. They are the ones who fought for the gun owners in San Fran to battle the gruesome Newesome. I would venture to say if it were not for the NRA we would probably be in the same boat as Australia and England.

About as accurate a statement as can be made right there. I don't want to end up like the UK and their PC run amok. The safest profession there is burglary.

Not the only ones. Please keep in mind that the following organizations are also lobbying for the rights of gun ownership:

- Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms
- Gun Owners of America
- Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (one does not have to be Jewish to join this organization)
- The Law Enforcement Alliance of America
- Liberty Belles
- The Pink Pistols (Yes even homosexuals are in favour of gun ownership rights)
- The Second Amendment Foundation
- Second Amendment Sisters, Inc.
- Students for Concealed Carry on Campus

And a multitude of smaller groups all working for the rights of gun ownership.

The NRA may be the most famous/infamous but they are not the only lobbying group working for the rights of gun owners.
