Acer P221Wd Resolution 1680 x 1050

Hi people I would like to know how not to get squashed images using Resolution 1680 x 1050.
http://us.acer.com/acer/product.do?l...CRC=2302474279
A few days ago I had an old 15-inch monitors now I have a lcd 22 inch but with the new resolution and the image in full screen I noticed a flattened image. how can I do to avoid this ?

Thank for help

Try this mod, but it doesn't work with ATI cards.

It will work with 3D views, but 2D, all TGA's periscope, bino and UZO will still look stretched.
You might also want to try the Hi Rez mod, although it will disable your F10 shortcut key.
I use it without problems, I just got used to click on the shortcut panel at the left of the screen to go to the deck gun.

...CapZap
In this case for your res ... edit structure of corresponding pages in
menu_1024_768.ini ... adding texture patches or using deforming textures
that after stretching textures had normal kind or something else ... or
look as it has been made in early version of SH4 ...
In other words it is necessary to make new textures ...

; of the game, change settings from this file and then return
;

[config]
; ResX: Horizontal resolution setting
; ResY: Vertical resolution setting
; useFiltering: Use linear filtering for UI elements
; enableScreenshots: Hook printscreen keypress to save TGA screenshot
resX=1680
resY=1050

In mod pack you have next files:
d3d9.cfg
d3d9.dll
Readme.txt
SHIII.sdb
SP2 Rez fix uninstall.bat
SP2 Rez fix.bat

In Readme.txt you have:
"Just copy the two batch files and the SHIII.sdb file to your SH3 directory,
and run the "SP2 Res fix.bat".(I've included a batch file to uninstall the
fix should you ever need to.)
I've included the d3d9.dll and d3d9.cfg in case you don't already have it ..."

In my d3d9.cfg:
"[config]
resX=1280 ; your value
resY=1024 ; your value
useFiltering=1
enableScreenshots=1
screenshotPath=L:\SilentHunterIII\ScreenShots
[gamma]
setGamma=1
gammaRed=0.73
gammaGreen=0.65
gammaBlue=0.65"

With this gamma{Red,Green,Blue} i have more brightness and cold image ...

P.S.
I use d3d9.cfg and d3d9.dll as mod ... and connect this files by JSGME ...
