Default Looks Good

I got downloaded (finally) and it looks good. It contains many of the other radio mods out there, but with added content to build them into more than they were. It has radio for both Atlantic and Pacific Theaters, I simply dropped in the stations of interest to me (in this case I left out the German & French as I've only been playing PTO to date).

Overall appears to be very good, check it out.

Default a single place to put all the radio stations

this is a copy of a post in FFred´s radio station thread, but he says he has no experience with multiple SH4 installs, so here it is (taking advantage of your radio release (so sorry) )...

so here it goes:

I dont know if its has been done.

is it possible to have the radio files in a single directory? and redirect the particular (multi sh4) installs to make use of it?

I have 4 diff installs and in each I have a BIG radio directory, but I figure: if I put the audio files in one place, I can then have all the radio stations there and not have to choose which ones to install....

yes, theres a limit on HDs...

comments?

Well, since the radio.ini file is in the folder whereunder all the radio channels are put as subfolders, it reads them like this:

[CHANNEL]
Name=BBC
Folder=BBC
Freq=34
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.1946: 51.45,-0.12:100000
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.01

I have no idea if it would work, but maybe if someone keeps the additional radio stations in one place, like C:\Games\SH4\Radiostations, so if one edited the radio.ini file into this:

[CHANNEL]
Name=BBC
Folder=C:\Games\SH4\Radiostations\BBC
Freq=34
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.1946: 51.45,-0.12:100000
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.01

Radio Washington would remain where it is as it's a default channel, but all else.
I have no idea if this would work, but if yes, then it would save all of us some HD space. So...

who's up for testing?
