about 10 miles ne of lake pilsbury. I GPS's it and when I hiked out I radioed my buddy who is a deputy and they nailed these dudes. Nope never have run into jihadists either. What freaked me out about the Mendocino is that it is vast. About 5 years back deep into the forest, I always put grub out of reach of bears. We set up camp and went out scouting came back to camp and the tents were demolished and the food was gone. Not another human being for miles and miles TMK. Had to be either a 12 foot bear or a human being or..........
