getting SH4 through Steam

as far as i know... Steam checks the game files to make sure everything is in order, and tries to update if it is not... I don't know if the game will run (as steam has the habit of running when you try to execute one of its games) if Steam doesn't give the "green light" because it has detected a major mod.

i don't wanna sound mean, (mostly because i appreciate that you are trying to help me, all of you) but... this might... and i apologize.

But I'd appreciate that some one who has actually downloaded it via steam answered me... and if no one has done it... then... then I'll just wait and think...
