What is worse is when it's
a King George you sink in shallow water and get no credit. ![]() |

You only get the renown if you receive the message "She's going down".
AI subs can take a while to sink on occasion. |

Thats why i ALWAYS fire a salvo of three torpedoes to battleships.
One on the bow, one dead center and one on the stern. The ship just blows up sky high. |

You can delete double-posts with the "edit" button.
As for the half sunken ships... what are you doing in shallow water anyways? :P

Yeah I know
![]() I'm well aware of the 1/2 sunken ships in shallow water without credit, but because it was a submarine I couldn't tell if it was only damaged (submerged to avoid deck-gun fire?), or in the process of sinking. It was totally submerged really, just the bow was tickling the surface of the water. I have a feeling it was very slowly filling with water and would have sunk completely, but I had to get out of there due to a destroyer inbound. I do alot of reading of 'old' posts here, and am familiar with the various types of 'problems', but this was something I hadn't read about or experienced. Just thought I'd throw it out for you guys to see what other options there would have been to destroy this guy would have been. |
