As for compatibility the sim is desighned for WinXP. I doubt its your graphics card since I started playing this on a GeForce 2 with 64 megs of memory. When was the last time you updated your graphics card drivers? Is the card AGP? My guess would be that it is a drivers issue with either your graphics or sound card.
