With great difficulty. Do a search for topics started by Ducimus and read how he went about activating objects on the 3D map. Even with step-by-step instructions, it's complicated.

Once you understand what Ducimus did, go ahead and download his mod. Unzip it, tear it apart, and examine the files. Use the modding tools found here, at the forum, to make sense of any file that can't be opened with Notepad. Then, once you think you know how to mimic Ducimus' changes, give it a shot and attempt to make the same changes ... backing up your original files first. Then test your changes in game.

If you have installed any mods that changes the interiors after TMO, then you have removed the link for those devices to work.
