Default Dublin or Milano?

Im thinking a weekend trip, month from now, never been to either..
Im leaning towards Milano because of weather and food and wine.
Im leaning towards Dublin for atmosfear, beer and whisky.
History and sights are going quite even and i dont plan doing any shopping.
Opinions?

This time of year - Dublin. The weather in Milan will be no better - quite possibly worse - and so will only disappoint you. Guinness is the wine of beer, and there are excellent restaurants with food from all over the world in Dublin. The local food is also great - try a big kettle of steamed mussels washed down with a pint or two of Guinness.

Summertime, though, head for Italy - we'll be in Florence in June...

From Finland to Italy, for just one weekend?

Translates into pure stress for me.

That reads like a cool poem, with no rhyming scheme.

Helsinki to Dublin, 3 hours with Ryanair. Takes me that long to drive to London...

I would fly from Tampere but same flight time probably, 1h drive to airport, 150€ for a Two-way ticket and from friday to monday. So its like an extended weekend, i think its plenty of time to relax and have fun for a good price.:hmm:

Sweet! God Is An Astronaut are playing! I'm there

Happy Times, Dublin's a bit like a mirror. All in how you approach it. Sometimes it's the Big Smoke, something I have to live beside and occasionally delve into.
Other times, it's Baile Atha Cliath, and whatever you're having yourself.
