Don't know about his other policies, but I like the sound of baning public servents from becoming lobbyists for three years after leaving office!

Wish they would do that here in Australia

I was about to refer to this myself, and that I think it to be a very important thing indeed, when I read your post. You are right. Lobbyism is a cancer inside the bones of democracy - and it kills it.

Freezing of wages in times of financial desaster and high debts only points at the fincial discipline for public budgets that he has said in advance he wants to make sure. that he starts at the top with that, may be a symbolic act only - but one with a message indeed.
