Small test report:

Type7U has TorpedoTubes inside the rear funnel.
Type7 has untextured mast and weird black textured bridge. (Both no big deal)
Also the stern torpedo tube rotates as if it's going to fire (much like the guns), perhaps this is stock behavior , i just don't remember seeing it before.

Type7 looks to be a cloned Soldati. A test mission with German Soldati, and other type DDs, vs. Russian Type7&7U, is successful, no crash or id problems. Good work, thanks for the effort
