Are you behind a "firewall"?
I had the same problem once and found out that disabling one of the firewalls allowed me to connect to the server. Check and see if your firewall will allow you to connect. I use the McAfee all in one and it will ask you if you want to allow this connection. |

Yes i have a firewall, The one that comes with windows. But even turning it off does not effect the error.
