I have a question. How to set a new type of font for the gem menu ? Or some other places such as passage.

The definitions (file names) for the fonts in SH4 are found in ~\data\menu\menu_1024_1068.ini.

You would have to produce a mod for every configuration of SH4 in existence for your mod to be any use to anybody. That would be a nightmare because then it would be difficult to tell your modded files from the originals. But many mods have that problem and we mostly can live with it. In short, rather than use long established Windows routines and font formats, the game devs elected to reinvent the wheel, resulting in a mess.

No problem. In theory it's not difficult, just byzantine. All the files pretty much explain themselves. White letters on a transparent background are a bit strange!
